Elinor Veronica was born via C-section on February 19, measuring 8 lbs 2 oz in weight and 20.5 inches in length.
We were in the hospital for a few days and finally went home on Saturday. Eli lost some weight the first few days and has a mild case of jaundice, but at the 1 week check-up yesterday, the doctor said she was doing fine. Whew, we dodged the bullet on the jaundice at least, because Oli's newborn jaundice was so elevated he had to be treated pretty aggressively.

Oli is learning to be a big brother. He wants to help and is very curious about the baby. Unfortunately, he's caught a cold so we are trying to keep him from touching or coughing on the baby. Sometimes he likes to sit between my feet on my nursing stool when I'm nursing the baby. He calls her
his baby.

Eli's personality so far: sleepy, very very sleepy. She passes out after almost every feeding and sometimes I have to wake her up to nurse her. That never, ever happened with Oli. Also, she has dimples like her Tia Carmen. We haven't been able to capture those in a picture yet, but we'll keep trying.
