Eli Beli

Eli had her 4 month checkup a week ago.  She weighed 14 lbs, 3.5 oz (64th percentile), was 25.75 inches long (94th percentile!) and had a head circumference of 41 cm (52nd percentile).  Her height to weight ratio, however, was only 7th percentile.  Which means she is really, really skinny for her height.

Eli is so long, she's started wearing 9 month clothes!

Eli's able to grab toys now (when she's not busy sucking on her fingers and hands), and laughs when you tickle her or blow raspberries on her tummy.  Her sleeping continues to be fragmented.  She's still on hunger strikes when Mami is at work, which is not helping her 7th percentile height to weight ratio.  She's only been averaging about 7 oz of milk from bottles during the day.  In contrast, Oli was chugging about 13 oz when he was her age.

Eli surprised us by rolling over from her tummy to her back today.  Even though Jorge, Oli and I were all standing in a circle around Eli, none of us actually saw her perform the feat.  Jorge put her on her tummy and we looked up to talk, and a second later when we looked down, she was on her back!  The sly girl refused us an encore.
