Eli at 8 weeks

Eli has reached peak fussiness.  Or maybe it hasn't peaked yet, but she has been getting fussier and fussier since she was born.  Gone are the days from the first two weeks when she could sleep through anything and had to be woken after sleeping for 4 hours for night-time feedings.  She now wants to be held and rocked to sleep and wakes up 5 to 20 minutes after you put her down.  Her usual afternoon fussy period extended to pretty much all day today and she has been wanting to nurse every 1 to 2.5 hours.  Loraine and I took turns holding her and walking around while holding her for 4 hours.  Growth spurt? I sure hope the fussiness has peaked.  She does flash her winning smile occasionally to keep us sane...

Good thing she's so darned cute

Eli's fussiness combined with Oli's evening tiredness due to the aforementioned no-nap streak makes for some pretty stressful evenings.  Loraine has been going through a baby and toddler trial by fire!
