Well, 12 hours later and we're still here, waiting for the Mooch. After a grueling long night of contractions (she didn't look as happy as she did in that first picture we posted), Suelika took the epidural at around 4am and was finally able to rest some. The water broke partly at around midnight (?) and everything looked ready to go (dilation, effacement etc) but Moochie was still hanging back. Just now, during an exam, the rest of the water broke and Moochie started moving down, so it looks like things may go forward now.
Not a New Year Baby, but I figured out why Moochie waited: he/she wanted a palindrome birth date! 01-02-2010
Um, assuming we're not at this for another 17 hours.
