Eli cried for 7 minutes before falling asleep at bedtime. She woke up half an hour later and cried for 15 minutes before going back to sleep. I thought things were going so well... She woke up later and I fed her a couple of times, but then the dreaded 3 AM hour rolled around. Eli woke up at around 3:20 and made some noises for a while. I fed her, she stayed awake. At 3:50 I put her in her crib and CIO started again. She cried for an hour and a half before falling asleep and Oli woke up, invaded our bed and would not let us sleep either (as if anyone could sleep through Eli's crying anyway -- anyone except for Jorge, who can sleep through anything). We had to boot Oli out and eventually everyone fell asleep again. Until Oli woke up and invaded our bed again at 6:30.
CIO Night 4:
Eli started crying before I even put her down. She knew what was coming. She cried for 44 minutes before going to sleep at bedtime. It would have been less, but Oli was making too much noise while refusing to get ready for bed and woke her up at least a couple of times. Let's see what happens at 3 AM.
Conclusion: Oli needs to be cried out too, but we can't keep him in his bed any longer, since he's not in a crib. I'm sleep-training Eli so she goes back to sleep on her own, but I'm still feeding her multiple times at night (can't have her get skinnier than she already is). Maybe that is too confusing for her.

Has Eli's sleeping improved in the last two nights?
