He began a series of blood tests two weeks ago after we saw the hematologist about his troublesome white blood cell count. He gets his blood drawn twice a week and has two more weeks of tests to go, but he's gotten used to it. He cried the first couple of times, but monkey videos are good distractions. Yesterday, he didn't even flinch or need distracting. He said hi to the nurses and then watched calmly as they stuck a needle in his arm and drew the blood.

Oli has started transitioning to 1 nap a day. In fact, he has only taken a second nap once in the past 10 days, which makes it easier to go out and about. Yesterday, we hung out all afternoon with the Stanford Gang. Eric & Jackie went to Australia 4.5 years ago and came back with 2 kids. Ana & Roberto & Sophie were in San Diego for a conference and drove up to Pasadena so we could have a big reunion, since the last time we were all together was for Eric & Jackie's wedding 5 years ago.

And finally, Oli's top two teeth have started to make their appearance, but they're still too small to show up well in pictures.

Well, guys, we all went through it; part of life. Oli, you are growing up fast. Will have to go to visit you soon!
Great to see you guys with Eric and Jackie and Ana and Roberto! Love that Oli is talking!
