A couple of weeks ago, Victoria, Oli's nanny, said he was ready to be potty trained, so we bought him a little potty. Yesterday, she started sitting him on it throughout the day for a few minutes at a time. He got some reading done, but nothing happened.
Lego flowers, check! Dr. Seuss, check!
Well, today, he peed in the potty 4 times during the day with Victoria. After dinner, he made his pooping face, so we quickly put him on the potty and he immediately began to pee! Then we sang him his pooping song and he pooped in the potty too! We were so unprepared for this development that we didn't immediately know what to do with the contents of the potty. We eventually just flushed it and cleaned the potty. We have photographic proof if anyone doesn't believe us, but we didn't think it would be appropriate to post. :)
In other developments, Oli seems to enjoy his Papi's favorite Dim Sum dishes too:
He scarfed down chuk, siu mai, ha gaw, cha siu cheong fan, lo pak gow, sticky rice siu mai, cha siu bao, roast pork and even some bok choy. I expected him to pass out from food coma afterward, but no such luck.
