Oli has been sick with a nasty cold since late last week and had his first fever over the past few days. We just happened to take him to get his 1-year blood test at the same time and they discovered that he is anemic and has a low white blood cell count, so this, combined with the fever led the doctor to order a whole bunch of unpleasant procedures for Oli: chest X-rays, more blood tests and antibiotic shots. He hardly ate anything for two days.
So far, the chest X-rays have ruled out pneumonia, but we are still waiting for the blood test results. Oli seems to be on the mend, at least. The fever has eased today and his appetite is finally returning.

Unfortunately, we seem to have gotten his cousin and uncle sick too. Sorry!

Oli, very sorry to hear that you got sick, first time ever. I am sure your Mommy and Papi will take very good care of you so you can recover in no time.
